Tonight’s Malaysian general election is a battle royale between two behemoth coalitions.

The elections will pit the world’s most successful ruling coalition – the 13 party Barisan Nasional – against the four year old, three- party Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

But, as Greg Lopez and Gerhard Hoffstaedter report, it could be on the island of Borneo where the battle is won or lost, particularly for PR.
