Dr Imelda Deinla is Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Regulation and Global Governance, ANU.
Imelda Deinla focuses on law, justice and politics in the Philippines as well as the role of the rule of law in ASEAN integration. She is a Filipino lawyer who has worked in both the private and government sectors in the Philippines, and is currently engaged in research and policy development on pluralist justice, gender and peace-building in Mindanao, Philippines.
She also worked for years in the delivery of human rights capacity building in the Asia Pacific, through her previous stint with the Diplomacy Training Program.
