Justine Chambers is a postdoctoral researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies, where her research focuses on focuses on everyday morality, identity politics, authority and ethno-national conflict in Myanmar. Nick Cheesman is Associate Professor at the Department of Political and Social Change, Australian National University (ANU) whose work focuses on the politics of law and state violence in mainland Southeast Asia, especially Myanmar. Nick is the Director of the ANU’s Myanmar Research Centre.
