Actress gives PM a longan

From today’s Bangkok Post:

Eat more longan, please. Actress Naowarat Yuktanant pins a campaign badge on the chest of Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont at Government House yesterday. On behalf of the Agricultural Extension Department, she is promoting the consumption of longan for its anti-free radical, anti-ageing and anti-impotence properties. Growers of the fruit are suffering from a price slump.
